Body With MC, ch 31. Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Ch 1, turn. Rows 2-16: Sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 17: Working in BLO, sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 18: Working in both loops, sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 19: Repeat Row 17. Rows 20-40: Sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn. Rows 41-43: Repeat Rows 17-19. Rows 44-50: Sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn. Rows 51-57: Sc in first sc, sc2tog, sc across to last 3 sc, sc2tog, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 58: Sc in first sc, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, ch 3, sk 3 sc, sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 59: Sc in first sc, sc2tog, sc in next sc, 3 sc in ch-3 sp, sc in next sc, sc2tog, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. Row 60: Sc in first sc, sc2tog, sc across to last 3 sc, sc2tog, sc. Finish off. Sides (make 2) With MC, ch 14. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Ch 1, turn. Row 2: Sc in each sc. Finish off. Button With CC and leaving a long tail (6-8"), ch 2. Rnd 1: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to 1st sc. Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) to last sc, 2 sc in last sc. Join (13 sc) Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. Join. Finish off, leaving a long tail (6-8") for sewing. Thread needle with end from Rnd 3, weave yarn through each sc. Gather tightly. Pull beg end through center of button to wrong side. Finishing Attach button to center of Row 10 of Body: With tapestry needle, bring long ends of Button through 2 different stitches on Body to wrong side. Cross tails and bring back to right side. Wrap ends 3 times under button in opposite directions. Bring ends back to inside of Body and secure. Attach Sides: With CC, whip stitch sides to Body, forming an "X" with stitches. Edging: With RS facing, join CC to back edge of Body and work 1 Rnd rsc evenly around edge. Join to first stitch and finish off.
